Discussion

High pressure will remain over the western Atlantic today providing us another day with an onshore flow of air. As a tropical-like wave drifts towards us from the Bahamas on Friday, it'll enhance our chances for showers and thunderstorms. Indeed, this system can result in some heavy rainfall around here later tomorrow into the early part of the weekend.
