Discussion
A frontal system to our south this morning will push northward as a warm front later in the day and temperatures are likely to soar into the lower 80’s in the Philly metro region. Showers and thunderstorms are possible later today and again tonight and then are likely to threaten us later tomorrow and tomorrow night as a cold front approaches the area. That cold front will then stall in the Mid-Atlantic region this weekend and a wave of low pressure will bring more showers and thunderstorms here from later Saturday into early Sunday and this system has the potential for some heavy rainfall.
