Discussion
Unseasonably warm conditions will continue for the next couple of days across the Tennessee Valley as high pressure ridging dominates the pattern aloft. Later in the week, a frontal boundary will approach the area from the middle of the country and chances for showers and thunderstorms will be on the rise. In fact, there is the chance for some strong-to-severe thunderstorm activity around here in the Thursday/Friday time frame and the threat for showers and storms will stick around for the weekend.
