Discussion

A cool front passed through the region in the overnight hours and today will turn out cooler with a low-level flow of air from off the Atlantic. This front will meander in the Mid-Atlantic region through tomorrow keeping it somewhat unsettled and then another cold front will arrive on Friday. The late week frontal system is liable to cause showers and thunderstorms as we close out the work week and the weekend is likely to start off on a decent note. However, there are strong signs that point to another possible Sunday washout – somewhat similar to what we experienced last weekend.
