Discussion
The wet weather pattern continues for the remainder of the week in much of the eastern half of the nation. A stalled out frontal boundary zone just to our north will result in unsettled weather across northern Alabama during the next few days. A series of upper-level waves of energy will move along the stalled out frontal boundary zone and generate bands of showers and thunderstorms around here and some of the storms can be on the strong side. Any shower or thunderstorm in this pattern can produce some heavy rainfall and – given the already well saturated grounds – localized flooding continues to be a concern.
