Discussion
The first stretch of summer-like weather is coming our way this week and highs much of the week will be at or slightly above the 90 degree mark. High pressure will push offshore today and lose control of our weather after providing a very nice weekend in the Mid-Atlantic region. A warm front will lift through the region later today and then a weak cold front will arrive on Tuesday. Showers and thunderstorms are likely from later today into the late night hours and some of the rain can be heavy at times. High pressure will build back into the area later tomorrow and it’ll turn summer-like here into the weekend with daily highs at or above 90 degrees.
