Discussion
Showers and thunderstorms associated with a warm frontal passage will pull away this morning from the Mid-Atlantic coastline and some sunshine will return to the area by this afternoon to go along with very warm and humid conditions. The second half of the week will feature the first extended stretch of summer weather so far this year in the Mid-Atlantic region with high temperatures near 90 degrees tomorrow and then in the 90's on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. A couple of weak disturbances this weekend could bring a return of showers and thunderstorms to the Mid-Atlantic region and it should turn slightly cooler early next week.
