Discussion

High pressure will build into the area today and help produce plenty of sunshine to go along with quite warm temperatures and moderate humidity levels. Temperatures will climb to or slightly above 90 degrees on Thursday and Friday and there will be an increase in humidity as well in this first extended stretch of summer-like weather for our area. There can be some shower and thunderstorm activity late Friday, Friday night and Saturday as a frontal system approaches the region. It’ll turn a bit cooler early next week following the frontal passage.
