Discussion

A weak front will becoming stationary to our north today and there will be the chance for late day showers and thunderstorms. High pressure will then slide off the Mid-Atlantic coast on Tuesday and allow for onshore winds to develop around here through mid-week. Meanwhile, the 2019 Atlantic Basin tropical season “officially” began on Saturday, June 1st and there is a disturbance in the southwest Gulf of Mexico that has a chance of strengthening into a named storm in coming days as it moves northward along Mexico’s west coast and then near or along the east coast of Texas.
