Discussion
High pressure ridging continues to dominate the scene across the Southeast US and we’ll have another hot and rain-free day in the Tennessee Valley, but it becomes much more unsettled as the week progresses. Deep moisture surges into the region at mid-week as a strong upper-level disturbance slides across the region and our chances for showers and thunderstorms will increase. The rain threat will continue later in the week and it looks like a good chance for more rain this weekend.
