Discussion
A cold front crossed the region late yesterday and a less humid air mass will push into the Mid-Atlantic region as we close out the work week. High pressure will expand to our north over the next couple of days and this should result in decent weather as we go through Saturday, but things go downhill on Sunday. A broad area of moisture will slowly head this way during the second half of the weekend in a southwest-to-northeast fashion and the chance for showers and thunderstorms will increase for the afternoon and evening and that threat of rain will continue on Monday and Tuesday as well.
