Discussion
Today is likely to be the hottest day of the week with high temperatures in the low-to-mid 90’s along with plenty of sunshine and humid conditions. The chance of showers and thunderstorms will increase later in the day, continue tonight, and then rise even further on Wednesday as a cool front approaches from the northwest. Any thunderstorm that forms over the next 24-36 hours can produce heavy rainfall at times. This front will stall out later in the week just to the south of here and this will keep us unsettled for much of the second half of the week. After reaching the 90’s this afternoon, temperatures will likely be confined to 90 or below for highs during the remainder of the week.
