Discussion
A cool frontal system will stall out to our south and east today and its proximity will keep us unsettled for the next few days. As a result, there will be a continuing shot at showers and thunderstorms and temperatures will hold at slightly below normal levels in the Mid-Atlantic region. High pressure will build into the area by the weekend and some sunshine is likely on both days and temperatures will climb noticeably early next week with highs likely reaching the 90 degree mark.
