Discussion
A Bermuda high pressure system will continue to pump very warm and humid air into the Mid-Atlantic region over the next few days and temperatures are likely to climb to 90 degree for highs today as we begin the new work week. A series of weak fronts will impact the region over the next few days and any shower or thunderstorm that forms can produce heavy rainfall given the entrenched highly saturated air mass. A stronger cold front will slip through the area at the end of the week likely paving the way for a nice weekend with a more refreshing air mass anchored by high pressure to our north and west.
