Discussion
A series of weak fronts will impact the region over the next few days and any shower or thunderstorm that forms can produce heavy rainfall given the entrenched highly saturated air mass and even small hail will be a threat. Given the well-saturated grounds, any heavy rainfall can result in flash flooding conditions in the Mid-Atlantic region. A stronger cold front will slip through the area at the end of the week likely paving the way for a nice weekend with a much more refreshing air mass anchored by high pressure to our north and west.
