Discussion
Humidity will rise today ahead of a weak frontal system and then a stronger front approaches the area late tomorrow. As a result, the chance for showers and storms will increase this afternoon and evening and then likely reach a peak later Wednesday/early Wednesday night when there will be the threat for strong thunderstorms and heavy rainfall. Looking ahead, a refreshing air mass for August will arrive here on Friday anchored by high pressure to our north and west and result in a very comfortable weekend.
