Discussion

A chilly air mass on the front side of strong high pressure will continue to result in colder-than-normal weather conditions for central Florida and showers cannot be ruled out and there is a chance for scattered showers. High pressure over the Ohio Valley will slowly shift to the eastern seaboard over the next couple of days and it will continue to dominate the weather scene in much of the eastern US. The combination of the high and low pressure over the Bahamas will generate a rather tight pressure gradient across Florida and a continuation of persistent winds for a couple more days.
