Discussion
The chance for rain will increase today as a strong upper-level trough of low pressure pulls out of the central Plains and into the Mississippi Valley. Low pressure will form over the central Plains and head towards the Ohio Valley by Friday morning. Its trailing cold front will slide towards the Tennessee Valley over the next 24 hours and contribute to our increasing chance of showers. The chance for rain should diminish later tomorrow as the upper low moves off to the east of here and high pressure arrives for the weekend.
