Discussion
The pattern aloft remains mainly zonal (i.e., west-to-east) as an upper-level trough of low pressure moves across the southern states. This system will weaken as it reaches the SE US, but it’ll still be able to produce some shower activity in this area late tonight and early tomorrow. Another couple weak disturbances can keep us unsettled later in the week before a drier pattern sets up by early next week.
