Discussion

Our extended stretch of rain-free weather has come to an end and some of the rain today and tonight will be heavy at times. The rain is assoicated with a slow-moving cool front and there can be a few thunderstorms mixed in as well. High pressure will follow the cool frontal passage and it’ll anchor a cooler air mass for the late week; especially, when compared to our recent abnormally warm weather. After a dry start to the weekend, another low pressure system to our southwest could impact the area with more rainfall by Sunday.
