Discussion
The work week will close out on a cold note with strong high pressure in control and temperatures confined to the middle 30’s for afternoon highs. The high pressure system will push eastward this weekend and temperatures will moderate and there should be some sunshine on both weekend days. Low pressure will head to the northwest of here early next week and it’ll turn milder ahead of its associated cold frontal system. Showers are likely by Monday night and Tuesday as the cold front slides through the Mid-Atlantic region and it should turn colder and stay pretty active later next week.
