Discussion

The big weather story over the next few days will be the threat for severe thunderstorm activity from later tomorrow into early Friday. Today will be quite nice with a southerly flow of air and then high pressure will push to the east by later tonight. By tomorrow, a vigorous wave of energy will approach and it’ll become more unstable here with an increase in winds and the threat of strong-to-severe thunderstorms by late in the day and especially tomorrow night. This evolving setup could even produce damaging wind gusts and even isolated tornadoes as mid-to-upper level winds will be quite strong.
