Discussion
Strong low pressure will move over the interior part of Pennsylvania today on its way to eastern New England and a strong cold front will sweep eastward through the region. This frontal passage will be accompanied by more rain and winds can gust to 50 mph. In addition, there can be a strong-to-severe thunderstorm this morning or mid-day containing heavy downpours, damaging wind gusts and perhaps even small hail. High pressure takes over to start the weekend, but a weak system could produce some snow showers on Saturday night.
