Discussion
A cold front passed through the region in the overnight hours and today will feature the return of high pressure with some sunshine and moderately cool conditions. A warm front will push through the area late tomorrow and then a cold front will follow by mid-day Friday. As a result, showers are likely to return to the area from late tomorrow night into Friday and then it'll turn colder for the upcoming weekend. A weak low pressure system could bring a touch of rain and/or snow to the Mid-Atlantic, but it's precipitation field likely stays just to our southwest.
