An influx of moisture today will result in a chance of showers in the area as southerly winds dominate along the eastern seaboard. The combination of a west-to-east frontal system and high pressure just off the coast will continue to this southerly flow of air all along the coast. The weekend is looking quite decent in the area as high pressure resumes control across central Florida.
