Discussion
High pressure remains in control for another day and then a strong cold front will approach the region late Friday. This front will slow down as it heads towards the eastern seaboard at week’s end and this will allow low pressure to form along the advancing frontal boundary zone. As a result, rain is likely around here early Friday night and, as colder air filters in, there can be some snow and/or rain shower activity late Friday night and at any time on Saturday as a wave of energy moves overhead. Another disturbance can produce another shower or two around here on Monday following a quiet, chilly day on Sunday.
