Discussion
High pressure will be in control of the weather today bringing us cold, breezy conditions and yes, the return of the sun (great yellow ball in the sky). Low pressure on Friday will head towards the Carolinas and produce snow in the southern Appalachians from NE Georgia to SW Virginia, but likely not have any impact on the DC-to-Philly-to-NYC corridor as it continues on a northeasterly track and heads to the western Atlantic Ocean. High pressure will resume control this weekend and then low pressure will pull out of the southern US early next week and it could bring snow here on Tuesday - something to monitor closely in coming days.
