Discussion
High pressure will ensure another nice day in the Mid-Atlantic region with plenty of sunshine and mild conditions. A weak front will bring some clouds our way at mid-week and then a much stronger front will approach by the end of the week. As a result, showers are likely on Thursday night and Friday and there can be a thunderstorm mixed in as well. Much cooler air will follow this late week cold frontal passage for the upcoming weekend and the early part of next week.
