Discussion
A strong cold front passed through the region in the overnight hours with scattered showers and some very gusty winds. After a cold, dry and much less windy day on Tuesday, weak low pressure will push to a position off the Mid-Atlantic coastline by early tomorrow morning. This system has little support aloft, limited moisture, and should only be able to produce a touch of snow in portions of the Mid-Atlantic region on Wednesday. It remains cold on Thursday, but will turn much milder again by the beginning of the weekend.
