Discussion

The rain that we have experienced since early yesterday will wind down this morning and an Arctic front will blast through the region late in the day. As a result, winds will kick up noticeably later today and they will be very strong tonight with gusts possible to 50 mph or so. In addition, temperatures will drop sharply in the overnight hours bottoming out in the lower 20’s and wind chills will be considerably lower. After a cold and sunny day on Tuesday, temperatures will moderate at mid-week under continuing mostly sunny skies.
