Discussion
Today will be another quiet, dry and mild day in the Mid-Atlantic region with plenty of sunshine and highs here well up in the 60’s during the afternoon. Patchy fog is possible late tonight and there can be a couple of showers towards morning and soaking rain is likely during the day on Wednesday as low pressure passes by to our west. After a mostly cloudy day and warm day on Thursday, a cold front will approach the region on Friday bringing with it another chance of showers as we close out the work week. Temperatures ahead of the cold front will surge to the 70's on both Thursday afternoon and on Friday, and they’ll drop by about ten degrees or so for the upcoming weekend following the passage of the front. More rain is looking likely in the Mid-Atlantic region for Sunday.
