Discussion
Clockwise winds on the back side of a strong high pressure system over the western Atlantic Ocean have produced a broad flow of warmer air from the southwest-to-the northeast and temperatures will respond noticeably here by afternoon. This warm up will actually intensify later in the week and it'll stay well above normal right through Friday. A late week cold frontal passage, however, will usher in much colder air for the weekend with temperatures likely confined to the 40's for afternoon highs on each day.
