After a nice day on Tuesday, our unsettled weather pattern will make a return for the next couple of days as a nor'easter forms up the coastline with the arrival of a chilly air mass into the Northeast US. This unfolding storm system will bring more rain to the DC metro region from later this morning into tomorrow night and will produce accumulating snow in the higher elevation interior locations of New York State and New England (great for skiers). We'll experience windy and cool conditions here on Friday following the departure of the storm system and the weekend is looking quite promising with some sunshine likely on both days and rather decent temperatures. Longer term, it looks like additional chilly air masses are likely to drop into the central and eastern US from Canada during the remainder of the month of April.
