Discussion

An unsettled weather pattern is in store for the region during the next few days as a stalled out frontal system meanders across central Florida. With little flow in the upper atmosphere, this front will stick around and act as a conduit for moisture to move here from the Gulf of Mexico. As a result, showers and thunderstorms will be a persistent threat during the next few days and this pattern can lead to some heavy rainfall. A cool front will usher in drier and slightly cooler air on Thursday.
