Discussion
An upper-level disturbance will push into the Mid-Atlantic region later today with a couple showers possible and perhaps a thunderstorm and this will be followed by high pressure later tonight into Tuesday. The biggest weather event of the week will likely be the passage of a strong cold front at mid-week that will produce showers and a possible strong thunderstorm later Wednesday. An unseasonably cold air mass will push into the area for Wednesday night and Thursday with overnight lows well down in the 30's and a feeling of March during the day Thursday. Looking ahead, more rain is likely in the Mid-Atlantic region by Saturday night and Sunday.
