Discussion

Strong high pressure ridging builds off the Mid-Atlantic coastline over the next couple of days and will provide us with dry, warm conditions and an onshore flow of air. Temperatures will reach the 80 degree mark for highs this afternoon and likely climb into the 80’s by the time we get to Thursday and Friday. As the ridge of high pressure begins to break down late in the week, our chances of showers and thunderstorms will increase as we head into the upcoming weekend.
