Discussion
The work week started off a bit on the cool side of normal, but a big time warm up begins today with afternoon temperatures likely to be well up in the 70’s. It turns even warmer on Wednesday with temperatures reaching the low-to-mid 80’s, but a shower or thunderstorm cannot be ruled out as a weak back door cool front presses in from the northeast-to-the-southwest. This weak front could shave a few degrees off of Thursday’s highs, but it’ll continue to be well above normal for one more day. A more conventional cold front (i.e., moves from west-to-east) approaches on Friday and its passage will usher in cooler air for the upcoming weekend.
