Discussion
High pressure over the Midwest will remain in control of our weather today and through the upcoming weekend; however, showers and thunderstorms cannot be ruled out. Temperatures will edge higher over the next couple of days into the lower 70’s this afternoon and to the middle 70’s on Saturday afternoon. Weak low pressure and its associated frontal system could produce some shower activity in the region on Sunday and Monday and an isolated thunderstorm cannot be ruled out as well.
