Discussion
The first half of the week will be quite wet across the Mid-Atlantic region with a nearby frontal system and several waves of low pressure moving along the frontal boundary zone. There is the chance of showers today with the highest likelihood in the mid and late afternoon hours and the chance for showers and thunderstorms will exist tonight, tomorrow and Wednesday. High pressure should follow on Thursday producing sunshine and slightly cooler conditions and then we’ll have to watch a coastal low at the end of the week which could skirt the region and produce additional showers.
