Discussion
A cold front will work its way through the region today resulting in additional downpours and possibly a strong-to-severe thunderstorm or two. Some of the rain will be heavy at times...watch out for localized flash flooding; especially, in the higher terrain in the western suburbs. In the wake of the frontal passage, a stretch of nice weather will begin here on Friday and continue through at least Tuesday of next week featuring plenty of sunshine, low humidity and comfortable temperatures.
