Discussion
High pressure ridging will maintain control of our weather pattern for the next few days and the drier pattern that developed last week will continue in the Tennessee Valley. By the latter part of the week, there are signs for a trough of low pressure to form over the Northeast US and this could result in some cooler weather here by week’s end. Meanwhile, Hurricane Sam is churning over the Atlantic Ocean and needs to be closely monitored. As high pressure builds into the southeastern part of Canada in coming days, Hurricane Sam could take a turn towards the Northeast US/New England during the upcoming weekend.
