Discussion

A cold front will move through the region today and it will result in some shower or thunderstorm activity and some of the storms can be on the strong-to-severe side with small hail as a possibility. The rain will be possible around here any time from late morning on through the early evening hours. After an evening shower or thunderstorm, skies will clear in the overnight hours and it’ll turn quite cool with early morning lows not far from the 50 degree mark. High pressure will dominate the scene for the second half of the week in the Mid-Atlantic region providing plenty of sunshine and it’ll remain somewhat cooler-than-normal for the latter stages of September and the beginning of October.
