Discussion
The cold front that generated yesterday’s showers and thunderstorms will tend to linger near the east coast today as an upper-level trough slides slowly across the region. As a result, there can be some lingering clouds today and perhaps a shower or thunderstorm. Clearing skies tonight will result in cooler conditions and the next couple of days will be quite comfortable for this time of year and there should be plenty of sunshine as well. The overall weather pattern remains pretty nice as we get to the early part of next week with temperatures climbing a bit compared to the early weekend levels.
