Discussion

Vigorous upper-level low pressure will push into the eastern states over the next 24 hours and this will bring some of the chilliest air so far this season to the Tennessee Valley.  In fact, the core of the coldest air in this outbreak relative-to-normal will be across the Tennessee Valley and Deep South. High temperatures will be in the 60’s today, but then only the 50’s on Tuesday and Wednesday which is well below-normal for this time of year.  Low temperatures will drop well down into the 30’s during the next couple of nights and this will raise the chances for late night frost in many locations.
