Discussion
It’ll remain on the chilly side for another 24 hours or so in the DC metro region and then slightly milder air will move in for the weekend as a southwesterly low-level flow forms on the backside of departing high pressure. Temperatures today will likely hold in the upper 50’s for afternoon highs, drop to frosty levels again later tonight, and then reach the middle 60’s on Friday afternoon. Dry weather should prevail into the first half of the weekend, but a coastal low could bring us showers during the second half of the weekend.
