Discussion              

A strong cold front will push across the Ohio Valley on Wednesday and reach the I-95 corridor region by Wednesday evening.  It’ll turn much milder ahead of the front on Wednesday and SW winds will increase in strength and can gust up to 50 mph.  Following the passage of the strong cold front, winds will shift to a NW direction by early Thursday morning and temperatures will drop sharply. Winds on Thursday can still gust to 40 mph or so and high temperatures will hold in the lower 40’s compared to tomorrow’s upper 50’s. It’ll stay quite chilly and dry on Friday and then showers are likely on Saturday with the next frontal system.
