Discussion
Yesterday featured copious amounts of showers and thunderstorms including some heavy rainfall and there remains a threat today of additional significant rain as a front slowly slides through the region. Widespread cloud cover and possible rainfall will help to keep temperatures on the cooler side today with afternoon highs in the mid or upper 80’s. Following the passage of the frontal system, a noticeable drop in overall humidity will take place by Friday and the more comfortable conditions will last into the upcoming weekend.
