Discussion

High pressure has pushed into the Mid-Atlantic region and it will continue to generate quite warm and rain-free conditions here today with afternoon highs near 90 degrees.  A couple of frontal systems will approach the region on Friday and Saturday and there can be a shower or thunderstorm from time-to-time, but no widespread or extended rain event is expected.
