Discussion
A strong cool front will cross the Mid-Atlantic region late today and it is likely to generate another round of showers and thunderstorms; primarily, focused in the period from mid-afternoon to early evening. Some of the storms late today can be strong-to-severe with the highest chance for severe weather along and to the south and east of I-95. High pressure will follow the passage of the cool front on Wednesday, but additional frontal systems will keep it somewhat unsettled later in the week.
