Discussion

A cool front crossed through the Mid-Atlantic region on Tuesday night and today should feature mainly rain-free conditions although an afternoon shower cannot be completely ruled out. Another frontal system approaches the region later Thursday and this will increase the chance for showers and thunderstorms from later tomorrow into early Friday. More comfortable air returns for the bulk of the day on Friday and for Saturday and then it’ll turn quite warm again on Sunday and Monday ahead of the next cool front which likely arrives on Monday night.
